It is impossible to describe the place I love in just a few photos. This is Warsaw’s old town. My hometown. Although it was founded around 1300, after World War II it was born again, like a phoenix from the ashes.
Although only a few houses remained from the Old Town after the war, its reconstructed content includes fragments of fronts of destroyed houses, stumps of walls, original bricks and ground rubble. The Old Town was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1980, earlier than many world monuments. Because it is the only phenomenon in the world of rebuilding everything in its entirety. Today, the Old Town looks so naturally neglected in some places, as if it had aged hundreds of years. Young old lady.
