Winter horse racing – experiments with movement

Winter Horse Racing – These are photographs from a unique series of about forty. They raise a very rare topic, because in Poland horses do not race in the snow, probably mainly for safety reasons. Between the end of autumn and the arrival of spring there is a break in the competition. But on November 26, 2005 – the last day of the racing season – snow fell. The races have not been canceled and the situation has awakened my artistic ambitions. Such a winter day at the races has never been repeated before.
